Our Core Values & Boundaries

We are primarily a place of caregiving and healing. We developed core values and core boundaries for our project and terrains to be able to provide a stable caregiving, living and working environment. See: About Us

Core Values

We work towards these values every day. None of us alone holds the answer to all these values, but we believe together we can reach a point close to these!

We believe in incorporating love as the strongest force of nature into all our work, communication and conflict-resolution.

We believe in incorporating acceptance towards some of the harder lessons in life, and we believe in trying to face adversity with our strengths.

We remind ourselves that sometimes, we can be grateful instead of sorrowful.

We believe in the power of co-creation, so we believe every being human, animal or plant, engaged with our project, has something useful to add to our work process.

We are responsible to give back to our planet, our surroundings and ourselves.

We work with a baseline of trust, and we try to return to this baseline after conflict.

We make sure we can uphold our own boundaries.

We hold each other and ourselves accountable for keeping our standards.

Our minds are a very important and strong force in our lives. We learn to recognise where our thoughts are coming from.

We believe strongly that life has a purpose, and you have the free will to choose what to do with what is given to you. Life’s purpose is exactly what you make of it.

We care about what we do, but we try to act, not react, if a situation is not exactly what we imagined.

We are reminded every day that joy is something you can develop from within and see in every thing when you grow your consciousness.

Our boundaries

  • We believe in freedom of spirituality, but we practice core teachings (‘the Freedom Teachings’) on which our community is based. As long as you are visiting project Source, we ask you to respect that these teachings are practiced on our terrain. (The above core values derive from these teachings. For more information, you can contact us.)
  • We normalise monogamous relationships and we practice and/or respect this belief as long as we are on the terrain of project Source.
  • We do not use any recreational substances, other than caffeine, tobacco or alcohol (in moderation) as long as we are connected to the work around project Source. We do not use any other substances, not for recreational or spiritual purposes, on the terrain of project Source.
